Bushfire planning workshops - a hands-on approach to bushfire survival planning
Designed to complement Fire Ready Victoria meetings and information contained in the Fire Ready Kit, these sessions provide more practical assistance to help develop your Bushfire Survival Plan.
What to expect
Workshops run for 2 – 3 hours and will help you:
- better understand your bushfire risk
- assess your personal capacity to respond
- understand the complexities surrounding planning
- develop a comprehensive bushfire plan
The cancellation or postponement of scheduled Fire Ready meetings will occur if a Total fire Ban is declared within your district. Meetings will be postponed so that residents can activate their bushfire survival plans and leave early.
